This open video course is based on the lectures that I was giving in one of the sailing schools. Because I have both experience working with “big” navigational systems for cargo and passenger vessels, and sailing experience, I think it is worth sharing. It is intended for complete beginners, but I also dedicate a lot of time to safety and risk management when using such systems aboard a pleasure craft, so it is much clearer why maritime navigation is not the same as using Google Maps or a car navigator.
